Mifare cards and readers

Please note that we carry various model readers which can read Mifare cards.  You will want to determine which 'flavor' of Mifare cards you have.  For example, there are Mifare Classic, Mifare Ultralight, and Mifare Desfire type cards (EV1, EV2, and EV3) available.  Most readers supporting the Mifare credential will be able to access the CSN value or embedded manufacturer's Card Serial Number (CSN) from the card.  The is a long binary string value UNRELATED to any secured data that may be written to a sector. 

IF you need to read secured card data written to a Sector on the card, you will need a Mifare Secured type reader like the RDR-80M31BKU.  It is also required that you have the location (sector) and key information which matches your card.  This information will need to be configured in the Secured Mifare reader using the SmartCard Manager here:
