Reader will not connect to utility on Mac OS

If you are able to run the configuration utility but when attempting to connect to the reader no readers are found, try the following

  1.  Quit the rfIDEAS Configuration Utility
  2. Go to System Settings (previously System Preferences)
  3. Go to Privacy & Security
  4. Go to Input Monitoring

If an rfIDEAS Configuration Utility entry already exists, delete it, then re launch the configuration utility. Make sure you enable Input Monitoring.

If an entry does not already exist, launch the application and enable Input Monitoring.
