Please note that a double-sided adhesive could be used.
The two mounting options recommended for an OEM Micro is designing plastic clips into the device/housing or using a double-sided adhesive tape.
• MISC-00031 is a single sided adhesive and only meant to secure flex cables to corresponding connectors. – This won’t work for the reader, only connectors and cables.
• We currently are not using a double-sided tape to secure the micro to anything specifically; however, we do use adhesives to secure full size OEM readers to our surface mount housings with good success.
• We recommend that to use 3M VHB Tape for the double-sided adhesive. Please see this link to the 3M VHB tape data sheet for reference:

o We are currently using 5952 3M VHB TAPE for above OEM application with good success.
It is important to note that once the reader is installed with VHB tape and is allowed to cure, it becomes very difficult to remove without breaking the reader.
