How to find your device VID and PID

This applies to the majority of rfIDEAS proximity readers. If you are using a pcSwipe reader and need the VID and PID, please check here.

If you are using a proximity reader and you need to know the VID and PID, you can do so by using our configuration utility.

Connect your reader to the computer and open the utility. Once connected, you will see your reader appear in the device list.

In the device list, you will see your products VID and PID on the last line. VID:PID RF IDeas

In this example, VID = 0C27 / PID = 3BFA
